Encourage one another!

Encouragement copyCommentary By:  Gordon King

The bible clearly tells us that in the last days the world will be a very evil place.  That men will be proud, arrogant, liars, blasphemers.  That wickedness shall abound.

We as Christians, as true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, are to shine our light into the darkness of the world.  To spread the good news of Jesus Christ.  To love, and show kindness, mercy, and forgiveness.

As Christians we are to encourage one another, to build each other up in love and kindness.  I see a lot of that happening, I feel the love of many other believers, the encouragement, the faith.  However, I also feel the persecution, the tearing down.  I feel the anger, the bitterness, and the pride of other believers as well.  This is not from God my friends.  This is not the love that our Father in heaven spoke of.  This is not what He expects from His children that He loves dearly.

Let us not fight and bicker.  To have a difference of opinion is one thing, but to criticize and condemn a brother or sister for his or her beliefs is uncalled for and unholy.  There is nothing wrong with sharing differences of thought and opinion, but it must be done with humility, kindness, and understanding.

To spread the truth is righteous.  To condemn another believer is not from the Spirit of God and is evil!

I know that I am not perfect, I do not have all of the answers, but guess what my friends, you don’t either.  A spirit of pride and arrogance seems to be running rampant in the world today.  Let us not take part in that spirit.  If I remember correctly, one of the “gifts of the spirit” was not “pride” nor was it “arrogance”.

We should attempt to teach each other with kindness, love, humility, mercy, and forgiveness, as our Father in Heaven shows to us.  Are we better than Him?  I think not.

Like I said, I am not perfect, nor am I better than anyone else.  For all of us have fallen short of the glory of God!  None of us deserve His love and mercy upon us, yet He gives it to us anyway.  Why?  Because that is how much He loves us.

None of us have all of the answers, only God knows all truth.  Yet one day in heaven we shall all know.

Let us all, including myself, put aside our pride, our arrogance, and be kind and courteous to one another.  Let us build each other up in the faith, instead of tearing down.  This is what being a true Christian is: loving, kind, merciful, forgiving, and patient.

I wish that I did have all of the answers, but quite honestly I don’t.  I am learning, searching, and seeking the truth.  I love God with all of my heart, and my life is His.  I worship at His feet, and I give Him all of the glory!  I strive each and everyday to be more like Him, to be closer to Him, and to know Him more.  These are my greatest desires.

If you are condemning me, tearing me down, then I may not answer your comments.  If I am overwhelmed with comments then I may not answer your comments.  Please do not be offended.  If you are derogatory, mean, and rude I may delete your comments.  This is a Christian website and comments with foul language will be deleted.  If you are anti-semitic then I will delete your comments.  This will not be tolerated on this website, it belongs to God not me.  It is written for Him, for His glory, for His will.

The purpose of this site was never meant for condemnation or criticism, but for the advancement of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  For the world to wake up and see what time it is.  For unbelievers to see what is really happening in the world, and by the grace of God repent and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.  It is also meant to be a source of inspiration and encouragement to believers.  To be a blessing for those wishing to seek God and understand Him more.

My heart aches, my soul cries out to God, when I see believers acting in proud, condemning, and arrogant ways.  This is not what God wants for us, it is not what He expects from us.

Like I said earlier, there are far more good comments then bad.  There is much encouragement and love, building up and strengthening of the faith.  This is good.  This is holy, righteous and from God.  I truly appreciate the kind words of encouragement, it is a blessing to me, it builds my faith and relationship with God.  Isn’t that what we should be doing?

Take heart my friends and know that God is with you!  He loves you and wants nothing more than the best for you!   God Bless!

  1. Amen to that, and I am asking forgiveness from anyone I may have personally offended and forgiveness from God himself. The site does offer insight on a variety of such things, and a variety of views, respectively. It can also be a learning tool.

  2. Dear Gordon, thank you brother, you are a true inspiration to me! I receive all your posts, and I stand by you a 100%. God is working through people like you, that are trying to wake up so called believers to reality. The Holy Spirit has been moving in me, sending messages through visions and dreams, sometimes I wake up to the voice of the Spirit of God, and we are SOOOOOO close to the end, it is frightening! Not for us, because the word of God promises to keep us from the wrath to come, but for the Christians that are blind! I wish I could shake people, to wake them up, they are being deceived, but not even my own family (my mother and sisters and their kin thinks I’ve gone mad) believes me! Nobody even reads my posts! I have even been blessed with healing powers from the Holy Ghost (thank you Jesus), and even those that are now free from pain (praise the Lord), do not believe that we are living in end times! I pray for all of them, they are good people, but they are so blinded, that it scares me for their sake, as they have NO IDEA of the horror’s to come! How do you make them see? We are running out of time, the Holy Spirit has shown me when the rapture is going to happen (time frame), and it is very close! I’m not one for date setting, I am not trying to convince anyone that I am correct, this is between God and I, and I am grateful that He is showing me this, and I trust Him completely! All I want to know is how, apart from praying without ceasing, do you wake up the people you care for?

Keep up the good work, brother, we appreciate it! Stand strong! Shalom!

  3. Thank you Erika! I truly appreciate your kindness, encouragement and your support. I love to hear of other believers who hear from God. To hear of their visions and dreams. I feel the same way you do, that the end is very near. I feel a very strong urge right now that something very big is about to happen.
I wish I had another answer for waking people up that you care for, but I believe prayer is the best thing we can do. We cannot change the hearts of others, only God can do that. I will check out your website.
    God Bless sister!

  4. Amen! We’re all one human family. Only as Christ atones for our sinfulness, changes our motives, encourages and helps us, can we be good or do anything good. Believing – moving forward in faith. Trusting – in all sufficient power of God. Receiving – abundant resources will open before us. Imparting – sharing with one another. True simplicity – of earnest dependent faith. Love. I pray people would wake up to the wonders of our Savior, in accepting him into their hearts. He didn’t say it would be a bed of roses by accepting his gift. He told us the challenges will be great but not to fear, he won.

  5. Thank you Gordan, for this site of encouragement and insight. A place we can express our Love for the Lord and our neighbor; a site where healthy debates or comments can be express. I agree with you where love abounds the heart is drawn to it. The Holy Scriptures is our manual along with God’s Holy Spirit that guides us to the truth. “Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people’s sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes.” 1Cor. 13:4-7 By the way one acts shows one’s true colors, which spirit guides you.
That being said, there’s also the opposite, people who are not focus on God refuse to see the truth in his word. Pray for that individual and let God handle the rest in His due time. You are not to judge but to give it to the Lord. “Never give in then, my dear brothers, never admit defeat; keep on working at the Lord’s work, always knowing that, in the Lord, you can not be laboring in vain.” 1Cor. 15:58 Even if it’s just a prayer for God listens.
“The Life and death of each of us has its influence on others; if we live, we live for the Lord. This explains why Christ both died and came to life, it was so that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. This is also why you should never pass judgment on a brother or treat him with contempt, as some of you has done. We shall all have to stand before the judgment seat of God; as scripture says, ‘By my life – it is the Lord who speaks — every knee shall bend before me and every tongue shall praise God.’ It is to God, therefore, that each of us must give an account of himself. Far from passing judgment on each other, therefore, you should make up your mind never to be the cause of your brother tripping or falling.” Rom 14:7-13 “..thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1Cor.57 (TheJerusalem Bible) May God continue to bless us with wisdom and understanding. He never promised life would be easy only through Him can we cope and our yoke easier to bear. God bless.

  7. Thanks Gordan, my website is small, don’t think I’ve got any followers, but I just post on Facebook everyday what the Holy Spirit puts on me. I know that something really BIG is coming, and it’s going to happen soon! Have you seen the Big Hole that’s just opened in Siberia! I immediately thought of the fallen angels, and that it is not something that fell in, but rather something that came out! Maybe some of the fallen angels kept in the bowels of earth, to be let loose for a short while? What do you think? It is great to be able to just speak to a true Child of God. Thank you for answering my comment! Shalom!

  8. Hello Erika. I did check out your website. Very nicely done! Love all of the animals. I could not find a follow button on your site. Maybe thats why you don’t have any followers?
I have not yet heard of the big hole in Siberia, but I will check into it, thanks!
    God Bless!

  9. Thanks SweetJava, very well said! God Bless
Just to let you know, for some reason WordPress thought this was spam and placed it in the spam folder. I usually don’t check the spam because I just don’t have the time. I checked it today, and found several comments that I had to move back. So if you ever don’t see one of your comments, this is probably where it went.

  10. Hi Gordon, thanks for taking the time to look at my website. I don’t know much about these things, so that’s probably why there is no link. The website was started because I do game drives and the Holy Spirit told me to hand out little samples (100 g) of dried pineapple with the web address and e-mail address, but I don’t think anyone ever goes to the website! They do enjoy the dried pineapples though. Lol. But to convince them and to draw them to Jesus, that is the job of the Holy Spirit. My job is just to plant the seed! But I fear people are not really interested in the truth, and they just shrug it off! I can’t even convince my own blood relatives, but I will never stop trying! It just saddens me some days, because we are so close to the end of all this madness, and I want every single person that knows God or have heard about God to be saved. God bless you my friend, for putting the truth out there, for encouraging people like me, and to take the time to comment! Shalom!
