Destin Holmes hopes her allegations of rampant homophobia in the Moss Point, Miss. school district will help bring an end to the harassment. She says the daily torment from teachers and students hurt her grades and left her hopeless.

While the statements made by this girl are just that “statements”, her side of the story, this is not the way to reach the lost.I do not condone homosexual behavior, however, we must treat all people with respect, love, kindness and mercy. We must humble ourselves and try to reach the lost out of love, not condemnation and hatred. Remember we are all sinners. What would Jesus do?
One teacher allegedly forced her to use the boys’ bathroom and another refused to let her participate in a boys vs. girls quiz game — forcing her, instead, to sit in the middle of the room.
“I actually cried during that class,” Holmes told The Huffington Post. “And what was running through my head was, ‘Why would a professional teacher say that to a student. Why?’ I’m still human. I’m not an alien.”
