(SOURCE)  A four-alarm fire heavily damaged a church at the corner of a busy intersection in Northeast Baltimore early Friday morning.

Baltimore firefighters went to the scene at around 3:30 a.m. after the church’s automated security system alerted the department to the fire. No one was inside at the time and no one has been injured in the fire, which was at the Northwood-Appold United Methodist Church, at the corner of Loch Raven Boulevard and East Cold Spring Lane, fire department spokesman Ian Brennan said.
