New Haven police are looking for two armed men who robbed a disabled man during a home invasion last night, kicked him, made him undress and tied him up with a garden hose, police said.

Police responded to the victim’s West Hills apartment just after 11 p.m. to investigate a home invasion and spoke with the 39-year-old man.

He told officers he’d come home about an hour earlier, opened his front door and two men who each had handguns pushed him inside.

When the men demanded money, he offered them the cash he had on him, but they insisted he give up more, hit him, kicked him and forced him to the floor.

During the altercation, he saw a bullet fall from one of the guns and one of the robbers retrieved it, he told police.

The victim pleaded with the intruders, telling them that he was disabled and said he had no more money, but they demanded he hand over his medications, police said.

The men then made the victim strip to his underwear, tied him up with a garden hose, dragged him into the bathroom and barricaded the door with a chair, police said.

After ransacking the man’s home for about an hour, the intruders stole the victim’s car, televisions, Xboxes and computers, police said.
