The Truth Can Be Hard to Swallow!

Everything we know to be true is not so easy to accept.  Most of us realize that it is wrong to murder, steal, lie and cheat.  Most of society accepts these truths and tries to abide by them, there are exceptions of course (Islam being one of them).

But, what about the things in life that we enjoy?  What about the things that give us pleasure and freedom?  Sexual freedom, lust, sex outside of marriage, drinking and partying, materialism, and self-glorification.  These are but a few of the things many people view as normal to a healthy life style.  But are they really?

The truth is that all of these things are wrong and are sin.  Sexual freedom: having sex outside of marriage, having sex with a same-sex partner, having sex with children or animals, having sex in a group, they are all wrong and an abomination to God.  Murder, idolatry, lying, drunkenness, cheating, stealing, covetousness, envy are all sin.

Matthew 19:4-6

And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”

Leviticus 20:13

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

Romans 1:25-27

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

Galatians 5:19-21

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Jude 1:3-7

Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

Revelation 21:8

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Sometimes the truth is hard to take.  People take bits and pieces of the scripture and twist it to suit their own agenda.  This is wrong and evil: knowingly taking biblical scripture out of context to support your sin.  Justifying your sin, being outspoken and bold about your sin while confessing to be a Christian is evil.  It is wicked, demonic in nature and an abomination to the Lord.  The Lord deserves the best that we can give him.  We must try to live without sin, not say that we love God, we love each other, so it is ok to sin.  This is false and untrue, it is a lie. 

Remember, Satan is the “Great Deceiver”.  He shall lead many astray.  His ways are wicked and evil.  Many shall be deceived and few will make it into heaven.  Narrow is the path which leads to salvation and righteousness.  Wide and broad is the road leading to eternal damnation!

I love you all, homosexuals, idolators, haters, cheaters, thieves, murderers, adulterers.  You are one of God’s creation.  However, I do not love the sin that you commit.  Although I am a sinner, I hate sin.  We are all sinners.  But, when a person is proud of their sin, then professes to be a Christian, have they truly been saved?  When people in society promote and exalt sin, is this something to be proud of?

What is sin?  Is it your own definition of sin, or is it what God tells us is sin.  I think I will believe what God tells me, Thank you!

    Now is the appointed time tomorrow may be too late, God is calling all to Salvation, Salvation is a free gift that He extends to all who believe in His Son Jesus Christ born of a virgin that He died on the cross to take away the sin of the world that He rose on the third day and you will be saved. .
