Are you a Christian? Really?

Hello folks, I pray for God to give you vision, enlightenment and discernment.  Amen

Many people wonder if they will go to heaven after they die.  While many others believe that they will go to heaven because they have been a “good” person.  What does that mean to be a “good” person?  Being nice to others?  Not stealing or murdering?  Not lying?  Giving to charities?  How about going to church on a regular basis?  Or tithing regularly?  These are all good things are they not?

Will being a good person get you into heaven?  NO!  It will not.  Not in and of itself, it won’t.  While being a good person is a desirable thing, we are all sinners.  Yes all!  There is not one person who ever lived on the face of the earth that was not a sinner, with the exception of one.  Jesus Christ!  That’s right, all others have sinned at some point in their life time.  So even if you are a “good” person, you are still a sinner.  Sinners will not go to heaven, not without first being saved.

But, you say, I am a good person and I do go to church regularly.  So I am going to heaven.  And that’s that!

Well, I have news for you, No!  The truth is, that you will never enter through the gates of heaven without first being washed clean with the blood of Jesus.

Do you think that just because you go to church, because you tithe, that you will go to heaven?  That is so wrong my friends, just wrong.  I am speaking the truth.  And the truth shall set you free.  As long as you follow the truth that is.

John 8:32

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Titus 3:5-7

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

Jesus Christ was a sacrifice for all of our sins.  He died on the cross and shed his precious blood to redeem us in holiness and righteousness to the Father in heaven.  Without accepting this free gift of grace and mercy from the Lord, we shall not enter the gates of heaven, but into the depths of hell!

I know this sounds harsh but, I am speaking the truth.  If we do not accept this gift of salvation, God is not sending us into hell, but rather, we are sending ourselves into hell.  For eternity!  God loves us all and does not want any to perish.

2 Peter 3:9

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us,not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

God has given each and every one of us a free will, the will to make our own decisions in life.  It is our choice of which path to take.  The path which leads to heaven is a narrow path, and few shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Matthew 7:13-14

The Narrow Way

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

Choose the right path.  Stay on the straight and narrow which leads to eternal life.  Choose Jesus Christ!

God Bless!
