Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib, Post-Trib, No-Trib, What Does it Really Matter?

By Gordon King

Hello folks, I pray that all are saved by the Grace of God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!  Amen

Are you a Christian?  If so, do you believe in the rapture of the church?  If you do, then you either believe in pre-trib, mid-trib, or a post-tribulation rapture.

But, I say, what difference does it really make?  It doesn’t.  Sure, I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture of the church.  I get many comments telling me that I am wrong, and that I will not be ready for what is to come (ie, the “Tribulation Period”).  I say “Hogwash”.

Jesus doesn’t tell us to be ready for the rapture or the tribulation period.  He tells us to always be ready.  We should not only be ready for what is coming and for the return of the Lord, but also for daily life and battles with evil spirits.  We need to be wearing the “full” armor of God.

He commands us to follow him daily.  This is what is important.  To do his will while we are physically alive on this Earth.

Trying to prove another Christian wrong regarding this subject is foolish.  We are Christians.  We should love each other like Christians should, and stop condemning one another.  We need to be doing the will of the Father.  Spreading the gospel throughout the world.  Shining our light in a world of darkness.  Showing love and compassion to the lost.  These are the things that matter.  These are the things that God has commanded us to do.  Not trying to prove each other wrong about the rapture of the church.

Time is so very short.  Let us pray for salvation of the unbelievers.  Plant the seeds of righteousness in the hearts and souls of the lost.

How will you answer to Jesus when he asks you: “Have you spent your time on Earth well?”  “Did you do as I have commanded you to do?”

Ask yourself this question:  “Is God pleased with the way I am living my life as a Christian?”

God Bless You All!  Maranatha

  1. I agree with you, wholeheartedly! I believe we need to be ready ALL THE TIME for no one knows the day or hour of the return of Christ. With this attitude you will not be ‘caught unawares’!

  2. yes, I’ve always thought about when Jesus asks you, What have you done with the life I gave you? He won’t be interested in your job, how much money you’ve made, etc., etc.. What have you done for me in your life? How have you help the widow and orphans? What have you done for my ministery?
