Changing Oceans: A Nationwide Threat

On April 24, 2013, the Democratic Steering and Outreach Committee hosted a meeting entitled “Changing Oceans: Adapting to the Challenges of Acidification, Rising Sea Levels, and Extreme Weather.” Afterward, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, who helped organize the meeting, joined several of the experts in attendance to reflect on what they heard.
